Ancho Reyes Verde
For Ancho Reyes Verde, the chiles are harvested earlier, while green. A portion of the poblano chiles are fire roasted expressing a bright, crisp, and fresh heat. Imbued with chile flavor, the resulting liquid is then hand-blended by our Maestra Maceradora – or Master Blender, to maintain consistent flavor and spice. Finally, the mixture rests allowing the flavors to combine perfectly and prepare for bottling.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Slightly pungent, followed by dried chili notes, spices, cinnamon, cocoa, tamarind, and wet wood with light herbal notes adding to the complexity.
Mouth: Spicy pepper notes are rounded out with flavors of heirloom tomatoes, pineapple, mirabelles, fresh ginger and green tea.
Finish: A pleasantly lingering pungent and spicy taste on the finish.
Alcohol by Volume (ABV%): 40%
Spicy Verde Margarita
Ingredients:
1 part Ancho Reyes Verde
1 part Milagro Silver Tequila
¾ part Fresh Lime Juice
½ part Light Agave Nectar
Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice with a salted rim. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Verde Gimlet
Ingredients:
1 part Ancho Reyes Verde
1 part Hendrick’s Gin
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
½ part Rich Simple Syrup
1 Cucumber Slice
Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake hard to chill and dilute. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a coupe glass and garnish with a thinly sliced cucumber wheel.
