Michters Kentucky Straight Rye
Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Rye is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to maximize the extraction of flavor from the grain. Tasting Notes
Nose: Rye grain and Cracker Jacks.
Mouth: Spice with peppery notes, citrus, butterscotch, oak
Finish: Long, smooth, and peppery.
Alcohol by Volume (ABV%): 42.4%
Another Fine Mes
Ingredients:
1⁄2 tsp Maple syrup
2 oz Michter’s Single Barrel Rye Whiskey
1 oz Tequila Corralejo
1⁄2 oz Clément Shrubb Orange Liqueur
1⁄2 oz Punt e Mes
2 dashes Fee Brothers Old Fashion Bitters
2 dashes Regan’s Orange Bitters No. 6
Method:
Add the maple syrup, rye and tequila to a mixing glass and stir until combined.
Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice.
Stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
Rasberry Rye
Ingredients:
2 oz Michter’s Rye Whiskey
3/4 oz Raspberry Syrup
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 oz Elderflower Liqueur
Method:
Combine rye, fresh lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and elderflower liqueur into a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice, and shake for 10 seconds until chilled.
Strain the drink into a rock glass over ice or a king cube.
Garnish with a basil leaf and fresh raspberry.
