Mijenta Reposado
A super premium, small batch spirit that is carefully crafted with a commitment to environmental sustainability and support for the local community, Mijenta’s Reposado is aged up to six months in a blend of American white oak, French oak and French acacia casks. A fuller expression of Mijenta for those who prefer a more rounded flavor with a hint of oak.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A delicate and inviting vanilla nose with notes of bergamot, honey, preserved fruits and orange blossom flowers.
Taste: Rich flavors of cooked agave, honey, vanilla with a mid-palate of cacao nibs.
Finish: A long and generous finish on the palate.
Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 40%
Mijenta Love Antidote
Ingredients:
1.5 part Mijenta Tequila Reposado
.75 part strawberry syrup
.50 part fresh lemon juice
1 bar spoon of suze
Method:
Shake and strain into a wine glass.
Top with a sparkling wine.
Garnish with a small golden strawberry.
Romeo and Juliette
Ingredients:
1.5 part Mijenta Tequila Reposado
.75 part Cocci Rosso
.25 part bitter apéritif
.50 part Blood Orange Liqueur
1 Bar Spoon Rose Water
Method:
Stir all ingredients with plenty of ice.
Strain into a coupe.
Garnish with an orange peel and brandied cherry.
